Housing and Homelessness BTEC
This course provides the core skills needed to
investigate in the housing and homelessness arenas. It gives staff the confidence to deal
courteously and robustly with requests for assistance from the homeless and
those seeking state-assisted housing.
As
far as we know, this is the only qualification that provides enquiry
skills in areas of Housing and Homelessness, Housing Assessment and
Housing Investigations.
Probably the most
comprehensive short course qualification, holders of the BTEC Award in Housing
& Homelessness have demonstrated competence in many areas, including : sources
of information and intelligence, involving the interviewee, question styles and
challenging, closing the interview, recording information from third parties and
many more.
