Mike Neumann - Managing Director
Mike
started out in the Civil Service working in the field of fraud
prevention and detection. Starting as an assistant, he quickly
demonstrated the patience and tenacity needed to be an investigator and
soon moved up to investigating organised crime at a national level. He
was fortunate to travel the UK, dealing with complex, high value
investigations under both English, Welsh, and Scots law, and
has
carried out surveillance in some interesting locations! His
ability to
turn his hand to most things led to him becoming involved in computers,
designing case management systems and managing a HOLMES system for a
while.
After
a brief (thankfully!) spell in budgetary management and control, Mike
fell accidentally into training, found that he enjoyed it and decided
to stay. He left the Civil Service to found ITS Training in 1999 and is
now the Managing Director of this highly successful training company.
ITS
started life offering investigation training to public sector clients.
Over the years they have grown to provide a complete training and
consultancy service to both the public and private sectors ; their
training portfolio now includes nearly one hundred courses covering
around twenty disciplines, to say nothing of the extensive list of
qualifications they offer and their bespoke services (executive
coaching, project management, training design). They have never
forgotten their roots, however, and remain the company of choice for
high quality investigative training.
With
the expansion of the company, Mike now finds much of his time spent as
a public speaker, where he covers such subjects as law, psychology and
communication. He writes for a number of internet sites and is also a
very successful executive coach and corporate relationships expert.
When
not working with ITS, Mike is a director and partner in a number of
other businesses and he also carries out some personal changes and life
coaching sessions. His hobbies include the theatre, Italian wines,
bikes and hieroglyphs. For the first time in many years, he is able to
admit to being a Chelsea fan!
