Invoices

Note about invoices

(This is not a change to terms and conditions – it is a statement of clarification that sets out how we deal with invoices and payments.)

1.  We set up an account for all new customers.  We do not routinely offer credit and require payment in advance of training events, unless we have told you otherwise.  For most corporate clients, we allow credit, providing payment is made within 14 days of invoice date. (Consultancy is handled differently and a schedule of payments will always be discussed as part of the consultancy agreement.) Note that we do not offer credit terms to privately funded delegates, who must settle invoices by either credit transfer or PayPal before attending training.

2.  When payment is received, we will always apply it to the oldest invoice first.

3.  If an invoice is not paid by the time it becomes due, a late payment fee and interest will be added in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts Act.  At this stage (in accordance with our standard terms) any discount offered will be withdrawn. This includes removal of the 30% discount we offer to PS&C clients

4.  We always give fair warning of our intention to issue a late payment invoice.

5.  Where a customer disputes any invoice or amount on their account, we will suspend the issue of a late payment invoice whilst we look into the matter.

6.  Once we have reviewed the disputed amount and communicated with the customer we will allow seven calendar days for the settlement of the account, should any amount remain outstanding.

7. Our terms and conditions always apply. You may not substitute your own rules for ours (if you don’t want to accept our T&Cs, please don’t buy our products or services). You may not (for example) give yourself a discount for paying on time and any communication from you purporting to allow this has no effect. Where you decide to arbitrarily deduct an amount from payment, and this leads to part of an invoice remaining unpaid, please see para 3 (above)!

8. Please note that we will not issue certificates to clients who have overdue accounts, until the account is up to date.
